HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester

As an Order of Chivalry of the British Crown, every reigning monarch since Queen Victoria has been Sovereign Head, and a senior member of The Royal Family fulfils the role of Grand Prior – Head of the Order. The Duke of Gloucester has been Grand Prior since 1975, and this is the first time that a Grand Prior has been portrayed in sculptural form rather than in a painted portrait.
