Queen Elizabeth II at The Great Party

Queen Elizabeth II attended 'The Great Party', St John Ambulance's centenary event in Hyde Park in 1987. Accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, she toured the party and spoke to many who had turned out for the celebration. In this photograph she is accompanied by Major Michael Parker, the primary organiser of the party and John Sutherland, the Commissioner-in-Chief of St John Ambulance.
